"Freedom Can't Be Given Only Earned"

To me this sums up the Iraq war (well any war for Freedom) in a great quote. Although I don't think the US is there only to promote freedom, (oil cough cough, just admit, really, I understand the importance of securing oil, it's okay, I would do the same thing) it definitely gave the people there the opportunity for freedom. Instead it just opened a can of worms where everyone has gone crazy for power not for freedom.

For everybody that thinks democracy is great, just remember that Hitler was voted in under a proper democracy.

If the majority wants to kill the minority and there is a democracy, well it makes since that the group with the larger number wins the vote and subsequently kills to minority.

Am I rambling?

Anyways just some polital thoughts.
