There has been a lot of new lately on PEI of a website called opencorporations.org.  Check out this recap of events from Open Corporations.

A lot of controversy over this and it looks really dicey on the hands of the government.  Check out Peter Rukavina's blog (creator of the search system). 

Pretty impressive for one of his side projects.
